Initially rumored for Rogers, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Q is heading to Canadian carrier Fido as well, along with two other Android smartphones, the LG Optimus 2X and the Sony Ericsson Xperia pro.

According to an internal doc that has just been leaked courtesy to the guys over at MobileSyrup, Fido plans to release all three handsets in the coming weeks.

The latest hearsay suggests that the first to hit shelves is LG Optimus 2X, which might be available in the next few days.

There is no information regarding the phones' release dates and price options, but Fido states that these will be unveiled in due time.

While details about the Galaxy Q's specs sheet are still scarce at the moment, we already know everything about the other two smartphones.

LG Optimus 2X is one of the first Android smartphones to be equipped with a dual-core 1GHz processor, for which the company was already awarded with a Guinness World Record.

The phone runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) at launch, but LG already announced that the Gingerbread upgrade is on its way and will be deployed soon.

The handset comes with a 4.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Gyro sensor.

The Optimus 2X will not be available at Rogers, but both Videotron and WIND have already confirmed that they will carry the smartphone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia pro is a slider Android smartphone that will be delivered with Gingerbread on board, as well as Timescape UI.

Equipped with a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, Xperia pro features a 3.7-inch LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen based on Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine.

The phone packs 1 GB of internal memory (only 320 MB user available) and 512 MB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 8 GB memory card included).
