14 DAY TRIAL // If you thought technology couldn't be fashionable, think again. Samsung has just announced its partnership with famous menswear designer Juun J. who created two innovative prestige slink leather covers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
The accessories were inspired by the “reinterpretation of traditional ideas and the resulting conception of innovative, street culture.” The covers along with Samsung’s newly introduced Galaxy NotePRO (12.2-inch) were spotted during Juun J’s presentation on the runway, carried by models showcasing his collection at Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Juun J explained why he decided to take up the challenge of designing premium custom cases for the Samsung tablets.
"Mobile technology has become an integral element of personal style and is now influencing fashion more than ever before."
"This collaboration offers me the chance to demonstrate the inspiration behind my designs seen on the runway, while showcasing how technology and innovation are central to my daily business and the creative process behind my collections."
If you think about it, more and more people own tablets these days and for those who want to remain fashionable while carrying their slate companion, an unattractive and uninspiring tablet case purchased off eBay just won’t do. So Sammy might be right in tackling this particular niche.
The Galaxy NotePRO (12.2) and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition represent Samsung’s premium line-up and both come sporting beautiful screens and the sleek S Pen, especially designed to enhance the tablet experience.
