The smartphone has already been confirmed in the US

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge started as a limited edition smartphone, as the South Korean company announced there wouldn’t be more than 1 million devices launched on the market.

This was one of the reasons the unique handset has been initially launched in South Korea and was exclusive to this country for quite a while. However, given the high demand for the Galaxy Note Edge, doubled by the low sales for other smartphones, Samsung has decided to bring it to more countries.

The first to receive the Galaxy Note Edge after South Korea will be the United States where the phablet will be available through all major carriers across the country beginning next week.

However, Europeans will be able to grab the smartphone soon as well. According to SamMobile, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Note Edge in no less than 18 European countries in the next couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, the list of countries confirmed to get the smartphone doesn’t include the release dates for each, so it’s hard to tell when exactly it will go on sale.

Still, we do know that the smartphone has been confirmed to arrive in Denmark and other Nordic countries sometime in December, so the Galaxy Note Edge may debut in other European countries around the same time frame.

Anyway, those anxious to purchase this high-end phablet with two-sided display should check the list of countries that are likely to receive the Galaxy Note Edge by the end of the year: Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, France, Nordic countries, Austria and Portugal.

The smartphone won't come cheap and is likely to cost more than $1,000

Keep in mind that the Nordic countries consist of five European states: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Unfortunately, we don’t know for sure if the Galaxy Note Edge will make it to all five countries mentioned earlier, but Denmark is specifically mentioned in a separate leak.

It’s also worth mentioning that Samsung took it to Facebook to ask customers if they wish to have the Galaxy Note Edge launched in Germany. If more than 120,000 people voted for it, then Samsung would release the phablet in the country.

Unsurprisingly, there were much more than 120,000 people wishing the Galaxy Note Edge would be available for purchase in their country, so Samsung is expected to release the smartphone in Germany as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is expected to be priced between €850 ($1055) and €900 ($1115) outright, beginning next month.

In other news, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Note Edge in Australia, India, Singapore and Nepal, but additional details on price and availability are still unclear.
