Owners of the older Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet might want to hear this. It appears the KitKat-flavored build specific for the device has been rolled out, covering the GSM variant (n5100) and the Wi-Fi one (n5110).

But before jumping for joy and getting all excited, you should know that these are new builds, so they might end up affecting your device somehow. For example, be advised that the Note series bundles a suite of programs and feats that take advantage of the S-Pen which might be lost after the ROM installation.

But the temptation might be too big for some users out there, so proceed with caution. If you are indeed willing to give KitKat a try, head on over to the official CyanongenMod firmware download page and select the appropriate model to get it.
