Samsung's next flagship smartphone is several months away, but the first details on the Galaxy Note 5 have already started to emerge.

Unfortunately, as with all the very early rumors, there's a high chance that they could be inaccurate since the products they're referring to are in early stages of development when everything can be changed.

The same goes for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which is said to pack either a 2K or 4K Super AMOLED display, S Pen, and octa-core Exynos 7422 processor.

You might also remember that Samsung patented an innovative technology that will allow Galaxy Note 5 users to pull out the S Pen using specific gestures or vocal commands.

SamMobile reports that Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone might also come with USB Type-C port, which is likely to become standard in the coming months as more handset makers will launch high-end devices packed with this connector.

A huge battery doubled by a speedy USB connector

The good news is this rumor might prove to be true in the end, since both Apple and Google confirmed their commitment to support the addition of USB Type-C port into mobile devices.

Samsung can't remain behind competition and is likely to make the same move as soon as possible, so the next device the South Korean company launches and could pack such a connector is none other than Galaxy Note 5.

So, adding the USB Type-C port inside the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 makes sense at this moment, but as we mentioned earlier, the handset manufacturer still has time to change its mind.

Last but not least, rumor has it that the Galaxy Note 5 will be powered by a 4,100 mAh battery, which is a considerable bump over Galaxy Note 4's 3,220 mAh battery.

Anyway, we will certainly continue to talk about Samsung's phablet as more rumors emerge, so stay tuned for more on this one.
