There have been lots of rumors surrounding Samsung Galaxy Note 4’s specs sheet, and some of these were pretty wild and claimed that the phablet might in fact pack a flexible display.

Although nothing is clear at the moment regarding the Galaxy Note 4’s list of features, we do know that Samsung plans to officially unveil the new smartphone on September 3.

The reveal will take place in Berlin a few days ahead of IFA 2014 trade fair, which is set to begin on September 5. The South Korean company has already announced an Unpacked event on September 3, where we expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy Note 4.

As many of these rumors regarding the phone’s specs coming directly from the South Korea contradict themselves, we recommend our readers to take the information with a grain of salt until Samsung makes the Galaxy Note 4 official.

As mentioned earlier, previous rumors claimed that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might come with a flexible display and a metal body. The screen would be about 5.7-inch in size, capable of delivering Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

On the back, the smartphone should sport an impressive 16-megapixel photo snapper, but no other details on the camera were leaked at that time.

It’s also worth mentioning that initial rumors stated that the Galaxy Note 4 would pack a 12-megapixel camera that would feature OIS (optical image stabilization), supposedly complemented by a secondary 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

However, it looks like another rumor is now making headlines in China. According to CNMO, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is likely to sport a 5.5-inch display, but it will still offer Quad HD resolution support.

Moreover, instead of the 16-megapixel camera with Sony sensor, the Galaxy Note 4 is now said to pack a 16-megapixel photo snapper featuring an ISOCELL sensor. The camera is still rumored to capture 4K videos at 30fps.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also said to come with a retina scanner and UV light sensor. On the inside, the phablet should be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and 3GB of RAM.

There’s no mention of an Exynos-based Galaxy Note 4 yet, but it won’t come as a surprise if Samsung announces multiple versions of its phablet.

Last but not least, the latest hearsay claims that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will ship with the Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system out of the box. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
