If you thought Apple's iPhone 6 is the most well-regarded smartphone in the United States, then you are clearly mistaken, at least according to the latest customer satisfaction survey published by ACSI Telecom.

The smartphone that got the most points in this survey is none other than Samsung Galaxy Note 4. There are 20 smartphone models ranged in this customers survey and Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 egde did not make it into the top.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 received 86 points in the smartphone customers satisfaction, while the second place is disputed between no less than 4 other smartphones: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

All four got 82 points from users in the United States. The last smartphone in the survey is Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, which only received 72 points.

Although people tend to laugh when they see a very large smartphone, it looks like the situation has changed lately and phablets are well-regarded among users.

The first three spots in the customers satisfaction survey are taken by phablets (Galaxy Note 4, 3 and iPhone 6 Plus). The next phablet in the rankings, the LG G3 comes in on seventh place.

Microsoft is among the last phone manufacturers in the customer satisfaction survey

When it comes to manufacturers, the giants Samsung and Apple are both ranked number one spot, each with 80 points. It looks like Samsung scored 1 point lower than last year, which is why it shares the first place with Apple.

Motorola comes in third and, surprisingly, BlackBerry remains fourth most loved smartphone company by customers in the United States.

Microsoft is only seventh, which shouldn't be that surprising since Windows Phone has a very low market share in the United States. You can see the most important information presented in this customers satisfaction survey in the sliders published in the gallery.
