We reported earlier this week that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet and Galaxy Gear smartwatch would arrive in India by the end of the month.

Thus, it appears that Samsung India has recently sent out invitations to a press event which is set to take place on September 17 in New Delhi, AndroidOS reports.

We can expect both Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear devices to be officially introduced in India next week and to go on sale on September 25.

Samsung confirmed during Galaxy Note 3 press conference that it would launch the phablet simultaneously in more than 140 countries, India included.

Customers in India anxious to grab Samsung’s phablet should know that the South Korean company plans to launch the 3G version of Galaxy Note 3 in the country, which means they won’t be able to take advantage of LTE speeds when traveling in regions with 4G network coverage.

On a positive note, the 3G model packs an improved Samsung Exynos octa-core chipset that accommodates two quad-core processors: 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 and 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7.

The LTE-enabled Galaxy Note 3 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit.

All Galaxy Note 3 models pack 3GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is only compatible with the Galaxy Note 3 at launch, but the handset maker has promised that support for other smartphones will be added shortly.

The smartwatch sports a small 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display that supports 320 x 320 pixels resolution and is powered by an 800 MHz single-core processor.

Samsung Galaxy Gear features 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, Bluetooth support and a 1.9-megapixel photo snapper.
