Good news for Samsung fans in the United States, as AT&T has just announced that pre-orders for Galaxy Note 3 are now up and running on its online store.

The carrier has confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is available for pre-order for $35 per month with AT&T Next or $299.99 with a two-year agreement. The phablet is also available for $725 (€550) outright.

Even though Samsung has announced that the new phablet will go on sale in more than 140 countries on September 25, the United States is not among these countries.

According to AT&T, all pre-orders will begin shipping around October 1, which means that customers will receive their devices in the first week of October.

The Galaxy Note 3 will be delivered with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz.

The third phablet in the Note series is sleeker and lighter than the previous model, even though it boasts a larger 5.7-inch full HD display. It measures 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm and weighs 168g (battery included).

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes packed with a new and improved S Pen, which provides access to more advanced services and applications.

With My Magazine, users will be able “to curate content tailored to the things you love including sports updates, celebrity news, your social media feeds, even nearby restaurant suggestions.”

Another interesting feature accessible via S Pen is called Scrapbook and provides an easy way to grab and store videos, photos and clips from Web pages that are linkable back to the original online source.

Other highlights of the Galaxy Note 3 include an impressive 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and 32GB of internal memory.

On a side note, AT&T has also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, the perfect companion for the Galaxy Note 3, will be available for purchase through its retail channels in the coming weeks as well.
