The downgraded version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is about to get additional colors. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a mid- to high-end Android smartphone that has been popular in several emerging markets, including India.

Given the smartphone’s decent price tag, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo still has a huge potential in both developing and well-established markets, which is why Samsung seems to be determined to refresh the series with new color options.

Initially launched in Black, White and Green colors, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will soon be available in Pink and Red as well. The new color options have been recently spotted in some official documents by the folks over at Phonearena.

Unfortunately, the documents depict the Korean version of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which means that both pink and red colors options will be initially launched in South Korea.

For the time being, it’s unclear whether or not the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in pink and red will be available for purchase in other countries as well, but there’s a high chance that Android fans in other regions will be able to grab them.

Keep in mind that unlike the international Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which is powered by a hexa-core processor, the Korean version comes equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. Apart from that, there are no differences between the two models in terms of hardware configuration.

Those who did not find the black, white and green colors too appealing for their tastes, will have to wait a bit longer until Samsung goes official with these red and pink flavors.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has kept the same design line of the original model, including the S Pen and faux-leather on the back. The smartphone boasts a vibrant 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and 267ppi (pixel density).

On the inside, the phablet packs 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB). There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but Samsung has already kicked off the rollout of Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in South Korea. It’s just a matter of time until it arrives in other regions as well.
