Rumors of Samsung working on a 12.2-inch slate have been around since August

Samsung’s massive 12.2-inch tablet got its impressive specs leaked online not so long ago. The same tablet has been spotted making an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website.

So the device is apparently getting a second Bluetooth SIG certification, with the first one being awarded a month back. So far, we have seen the 12.2-inch slate appear with the model number SM-P905, SM-P00 and SM-P901. Well, on the Bluetooth SIG page, the number has been tweaked a little bit to become SM-P905V.

You might be wondering what the V stands for. Well, it appears that the letter represents a mark for Verizon. Therefore, the Korean tech giant might have some big plans for the device and doesn't intend to launch it only on its home court.

Of course, nothing is official until Verizon makes a statement about it, but maybe it wouldn't be far-fetched to think that the tablet will be out in time for Christmas.
