Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) slate back in September and now the time has come for the slate to arrive on the Indian market as promised.

The announcement was made at a press event held in Mumbai. The slate will be sold for Rs 49,990 / $810 / €592 and more details about its availability are expected to appear soon enough, AndroidOS reports. The larger slate is coming to India featuring “Content Gifts” that will be made available through the Samsung app store.

One of these gifts translates into a free and full six-month subscription to digital copies of India’s top 30 magazines.

As a quick reminder, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a 10.1-inch screen with stunning Super Clear LCD display and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Inside, we have a 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor with 3GB of RAM.

Default storage is set to 32GB, but there’s a microSD card slot so there’s room for improvement. The slate sports Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities.
