We have previously spoken of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A line, which will consist of all-metal smartphone models.

The Galaxy A5 and A3 have already been announced, while the A7 has leaked several times before. Now the Galaxy A7 has surfaced in the press once again, but this time it comes along a model we haven’t heard of, the Galaxy Grand Max (SM-G720NQ).

Say hi to the Galaxy Grand Max

The smartphone will apparently make a debut into the wild with a 5.2-inch HD TFT LCD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor fitted with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card to 64GB).

The handset also takes advantage of two cameras (a 13MP one on the back and a 5MP one up in the front) and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The Grand Max lives off a 2500 mAh battery and is compatible with LTE and DMB networks.

The Galaxy Grand Max is 7.9mm / 0.33 inches in profile, so definitely not the skinniest you’ll find out there.

As for the Galaxy A7, you should know it will arrive in three distinct variants: SM-A700S, SM-A700K and SM-A700L.

Will the Galaxy A7 rely on Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 615?

In case you missed our earlier coverage on the matter, we’ll remind you the Galaxy A7 will come with a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and a 1.5GHz octa-core processor under the hood (we don’t know yet which one, but the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 is a possibility).

Everything onboard is fitted with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). The device takes advantage of the same cameras and battery as the Galaxy Grand Max.

In the connectivity department, the A7 will take advantage of LTE, VoLTE, DMB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone is 6.3 mm / 0.24 inches and breaks the scales at 140 g / 0.3 inches.

The two smartphones will be released in South Korea alongside the Galaxy S5.
