The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is definitely one of the most interesting gadgets to recently show up on the radar, even though up until now, there haven't been a lot of details regarding exactly what the device is capable of.
However, that has changed since, according to Gigaom, the device will have square screens, OLED displays and a diagonal size of about 3 inches. As far as processing power goes, it is rumored that it will have a Samsung Exynos 4212 dual-core processor, running at 1.5GHz.
Other details include a 320 x 320 resolution display as well as a Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Add a camera, a touchscreen that supports gestures such as select and swipe, give it some tiny speakers and you will get quite an interesting device from a technical standpoint.
While all these rumors currently remain unconfirmed, with a presumed launch date set for September 4, this year, the wait will soon be over.
