As expected, Samsung Galaxy Ace has just been debuted by Koodo Mobile, though rumor suggested that the smartphone will be available on October 7.

Customers who prefer Koodo Mobile over other Canadian major carriers can purchase the Galaxy Ace for $200 (about 152 EUR) outright, or as low as $50 (roughly 38 EUR) with the use of the Tab.

Last week, Galaxy Ace showed at Future Shop retailer as “Coming Soon,” but no additional details regarding the phone's price or release date were revealed at that time.

One of the popular Galaxy family smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Ace is currently among the best deals on the North American market in the budget-friendly category range.

Besides Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, Galaxy Ace offers TouchWiz 3.0 user interface, along with access to more than 250,000 apps via Android Market.

Although the phone was initially launched with Android 2.2 Froyo on board, Samsung already deployed the latest Gingerbread upgrade for Galaxy Ace in most markets the phone was released.

Dubbed as a mid-range smartphone, Galaxy Ace may be positioned a bit lower these days, especially in a world of Android dual-core superphones.

Samsung Galaxy Ace is equipped with an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit.

It also packs 158 MB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The smartphone should be delivered with a free 2GB memory card in the sales package, but Koodo Mobile has yet to make any mentions on its webstore.

There's also a 5-megapixel camera on the back of the phone, which features autofocus, LED flash, face and smile detection, as well as video recording capabilities.

Other highlights of the phone include: HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth conectivity, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities and GPS with A-GPS support.
