With just one day to go until the Galaxy S IV official announcement, rumors have just surfaced on a refreshed version of Samsung Galaxy S III.

It looks like the South Korean company plans to take the extremely popular Galaxy S III and make it even better.

Although Samsung has yet to come forward with an official statement, it appears that famous Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin already found out what is this all about.

According to him, Samsung is trying to redux one of its greater successes on the smartphone market, the Galaxy S III, and bring the phone’s hardware and software up to today’s standards.

Even though Murtazin does not mention all the changes the refreshed Galaxy S III will ‘suffer,’ he does mention Samsung will replace the 2,100 mAh Li-Ion battery with a slightly better one that will pack 2,400 mAh.

There is even greater news for Samsung fans, as the handset maker will feature wireless charging, something that only smartphones such as the Nokia Lumia 920 now have.

Currently, Samsung Galaxy S III boasts a hyper-vibrant 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. However, Murtazin claims Samsung wants to make this even better.

Unfortunately, no additional details are provided on how exactly Samsung plans to improve the Galaxy S III’s display, but one thing is certain, it won’t be any bigger than this.

We can expect better display technology to be embedded into the refreshed Galaxy S III’s screen or higher-resolution (full HD sounds great).

For the time being, these are only tips coming from a reliable source, so Samsung might change its mind and drop the whole refreshed Galaxy S III project, but we will probably found out if it does. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
