Samsung unveiled its next-generation Galaxy S smartphone last week and many voices claim the handset is far from being innovative.

Nevertheless, the South Korean company expects to ship no less than 10 million Galaxy S 4 units in the first month of availability.

For that to happen, Samsung has to launch the smartphone in as many markets as possible. Samsung Galaxy S 4 has been confirmed to arrive in the UK in late April, soon followed by other European countries.

Aussies will be happy to know that Australia will be among the first countries to receive the Galaxy S 4.

As AusDroid points out, major retailer Mobicity has started to take pre-orders for the superphone and claims the 16GB model will arrive in stock on April 26.

The 16GB Galaxy S 4 is available at Mobicity for no less than $800/€645 outright. However, the retailer also accepts pre-orders for the 32GB and 64GB variants, which cost $900/€725 and $1,000/€805, respectively. Check them out here.

Unfortunately, Mobicity does not state exactly when the 64GB Galaxy S 4 will be available for purchase, though it does say the 32GB will hit shelves soon after the 16GB variant.

Oddly enough, Mobicity does reveal which version of the Galaxy S 4 will sell, either the one equipped Exynos 5 Octa 5410 chipset that features two quad-core CPUs, or the one packing a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz.

Either way, the smartphone boasts the same 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and feature Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

In addition, the superphone sports an impressive 13-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. More details on the phone’s specs sheet are available here.
