Unveiled back in early May, Samsung Galaxy Core is about to make its debut in India in the coming weeks. The smartphone was recently spotted on Samsung India website, though no info on availability and price has been disclosed yet.

The mid-range Galaxy Core will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and will be available in White and Blue color schemes.

Customers in India will be happy to know they will get the dual-SIM version of Galaxy Core, while most of the other countries will get the single-SIM model.

According to Samsung, the dual-SIM Galaxy Core should have been released back in May, while the single-SIM variant won’t go on sale until next month.

As fonearena points out, there’s no telling when exactly the Galaxy Core will arrive in India, but the fact that it has just been listed on Samsung India website is a clear indication the smartphone will go on sale very soon.

As we mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy Core is a mid-range Android smartphone that comes equipped with a dual-core processor clocked in at 1.2 GHz.

In addition, the device packs a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

On the inside, Samsung Galaxy Cover has been confirmed to feature 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

Furthermore, the handset sports a decent 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. It is also worth mentioning the phone is powered by an 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

Last but not least, the dual-SIM Galaxy Core comes preloaded with Smart Functions, including Smart Stay, Smart Alert, and Best Shot. Stay tuned for more info on the phone’s availability in India.
