Samsung G600, one of the best-received handsets released by the South Korean company in 2007, is now offered in a new version that will surely appeal to many women and girls who care for mobile phones. And we are not talking about the pink G600, already released in the UK, but about the new Samsung G600 Belle.

The Belle handset resembles the purple version of Samsung G600 (which, by the way, is offered with a free iPod Nano), but it has a burgundy-colored case and comes in a package that includes three varieties of nail varnish from Nails Inc. ? obviously a good bargain, as nail varnish is never enough.

Besides the fashion "accessories" and the burgundy color, Samsung G600 Belle brings the same features that the original version has. The slider packs a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, image stabilizer and VGA video recording, a 2.2 inches TFT display with 16 million colors and a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, quad-band GSM connectivity, EDGE, music player (MP3, AAC, AAC+ ,e-AAC+ and WMA support), stereo FM radio, TV out, NetFront and WAP browsers, email, Bluetooth, USB, document viewer, microSD card support and so on. Measuring 101 x 47.8 x 14.9 millimeters and weighing 104 grams, the phone includes a Li-Ion 880 mAh standard battery that should provide about 3.5 hours of talk-time and up to 300 hours of stand-by time.

Samsung G600 Belle will be available starting April 2008 via Phones4U, a leading UK handset retailer, for an undisclosed (yet) price.

Now that the Belle G600 was announced and all the women are clearly happy about it, men can only wait for a Samsung G600 Beer version to come with three bottles of the finest beer in the package. And maybe a soccer ball too.
