14 DAY TRIAL // The first Windows Phone Mango smartphones have arrived on shelves at wireless operator AT&T, namely the Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash.
The mobile phone carrier has already made the two available for purchase for its customers, both through its nationwide stores, as well as online via its website.
The Samsung Focus S, a high-end device, was listed on the company's website here for $199.99 (145 Euros) on contract, while the Samsung Focus Flash, a more affordable handset, can be seen here for $49.99 (36 Euros) on contract.
Focus S landed on the market with a large 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, a fast application processor inside, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto focus, LED Flash, and HD video recording.
The new mobile phone also packs 16 GB of internal memory, along with 3G connectivity capabilities, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and built-in GPS receiver.
It also comes with the usual set of sensors, as well as with a 1650 mAh battery inside, which can deliver up to 6.5 hours of talk time, or up to 10 days of standby time.
Running under Windows Phone Mango, the new device also sports fast browsing via Internet Explorer 9 with full HTML 5 support, as well as Xbox live, Bing search, and other features specific to the mobile OS.
It also sports apps and services from AT&T, including: AT&T Navigator, AT&T Address Book, AT&T FamilyMap, AT&T U-verse Mobile, YPmobile, AT&T Radio, myAT&T.
As for the Samsung Focus Flash, it arrives on shelves with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm application processor, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto focus, LED flash and HD video recording.
The mobile phone also includes 8 GB of internal memory, a 1500 mAh battery, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, and the like. It also comes pre-loaded with various applications from AT&T.
