But why would you need a tablet when riding a bike?

The usual tablet accessories list includes things like cases, stands or cables, but Samsung has upped the ante with a bike mount for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, which just as its name implies was built in order to attach your sleek 10.1-inch tablet to the middle of a bike frame.

The accessory was designed in partnership with 14 Bike Co and is built out of carbon fiber.

If this idea attracts you, then there are a few things one might consider before going for this device.

The first one is that the mount doesn't feature any sort of protection for the Galaxy's Tab screen, which leaves it vulnerable to all those tiny rocks that can fly of the road, while the lack of the locking mechanism means that you can't leave your bike unattended.

Finally, there's the question of why would you actually need a tablet when riding your bike, but for those of you that are still interested in this accessory you should know that for the time being this is just a concept, available only on special order, which basically translates into being very expensive.
