Samsung may be getting more attention for its tablets, especially with CTIA going on, but it seems it still had enough time to look to the needs of medium businesses and the enterprise sector overall.

Samsung is one of those companies that deal in a bunch of different things, like hardware components, PCs, peripherals and mobile devices, to name a few.

Not long ago, the outfit could very well be said to have delivered something that might just give Apple's iPad 2 trouble.

To be more specific, the outfit brought forth the Galaxy Tab 8.9, a new Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) slate, while reintroducing (and improving) the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The other part of Samsung's activity consisted of a series of new multi-function printing solutions for medium and above businesses and pretty much any branch of the enterprise sector.

Specifically, Samsung brought forth the A3 and A4 series of devices for business, education, healthcare, government and various other venues.

“We are excited that, after several years of mutual development and testing, Samsung is launching an XOA platform to support our partners’ value-added software solutions,” said Ron Nevo, senior manager of solutions marketing at Samsung Electronics America Enterprise Business Division.

“Our goal is to combine the first class technology built into all of our printers and copiers with our partners’ unique applications to offer business users a broad spectrum of solutions for document management, secure printing, and cost-savings. We look forward to continuing to collaborate on the development of new, innovative solutions that enhance the user experience..”

The complete list of printing solutions includes the SCX-5935NX, SCX-6555NX, CLX-8540NX, CLX-9350ND, CLX-9250ND, SCX-8040ND and SCX-8030ND, all of which have an 'intuitive' user interface.

They are also said to feature the XOA platform, which is made up of embedded applications and services for security, accounting support and document output-related tasks.
