14 DAY TRIAL // It was just last week that the Pebble smartwatch made the news again, for being torn to pieces in a none too gentle fashion. Now we are seeing signs of a new smartwatch approaching.
Given all the signs, it is highly probable that more than one Android-loaded smartwatch, or wrist watch running some other OS, even Apple's iOS, will come out this year.
Sadly, we only know of one for certain: the one that Samsung is preparing.
And, equally sadly, that is all we know about it: that Samsung is preparing it. No specifications are known, nor was an ETA provided in the word exchange between mobile executive VP Lee Young Hee and Bloomberg.
"We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them," he said.
