Unveiled in late February, Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to go on sale in April 11. There have been many rumors claiming that the smartphone will come bundled with lots of free apps and services worth $575 (€415), but it looks like the information was a bit inaccurate.

Samsung has just issued an official statement confirming that its flagship smartphone will be released next month bundled with free apps and services worth more than $600 (€430).

That’s an impressive amount of free stuff that Samsung throws in to please its fans. We suspect that this is meant to hide the lack of innovation that the Galaxy S5 brings on the smartphone market, but it’s still a nice addition to the device.

Aside from detailing the free stuff that comes with each Galaxy S5 purchased, Samsung has also announced partnerships with no less than 16 major mobile content and service providers.

These are the companies that will provide the free stuff for Samsung Galaxy S5 at launch, but they may also bring additional free apps and services over the next couple of months.

Anyway, let’s see what you will get for free with the Galaxy S5 purchase. Well, according to Samsung, those who purchase the Galaxy S5 will also receive 1 year of free RunKeeper premium service, along with 6 months of free premium service for MapMyFitness and Skimble services.

Furthermore, the bundle also includes 1 year of Lark premium service, a free 6-month subscription to Wall Street Journal, a free 12-month subscription for Bloobmerg Businessweek+ and 6 months of free EasilyDo Pro.

Depending on the country, Samsung Galaxy S5 owners will also receive between 3 and 12 months of free subscription. Samsung will also throw in 3 months of free LinkedIn Premium account.

The bundle will also provide Galaxy S5 owners with a $50 voucher on PayPal merchants, $10 Cut the Rope 2 in-game credits and free 5$ Blurb coupon. Flick Dat application that costs $2 will be available for free to Galaxy S5 users.

Last but not least, Samsung also offers 50GB free cloud storage for 6 months via Box, 50GB of free cloud storage for 2 years via Dropbox and 1TB of storage for 3 months via Bitcasa.

“The Galaxy S5 was designed to offer consumers the most advanced tool to help improve their everyday lives. These new partnerships perfectly compliment this mission with a comprehensive offering of some of the world’s best mobile resources to suit people’s active lives,” said JK Shin, CEO and president of IT and mobile division, Samsung Electronics.
