Security cameras with ultra zoom are already used in keeping an eye on every move you make in a public place/building or private property. Big Brother became reality with the appearance of high surveillance cameras. If he were still alive, George Orwell would probably be saying: "This is just the beginning!".

The SCC-C4307 surveillance camera is being shown for the first time at this week's ISC West in Las Vegas. Samsung Electronics' latest high performance surveillance is a perfect example when it comes to imagine what Big Brother equipments can do. This camera has a ? inches Ex-view HAD CCD with a 32X optical zoom. GVI security is already using this jewel watcher in its surveillance solutions.

The camera includes a WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function that provides clear images even in extreme back light circumstances. The minimum light required is 0.2 Lux (30 IRE) in color mode and 0.07 Lux (30 IRE) in B/W mode. The Day/Night function can automatically switch from the day color mode to B/W mode. This means that it can function nonstop.

The camera has the market's most innovative zoom capability. It features 32 x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. It's very cost effective thanks to its multiple applications. The device boasts autofocus, light level and iris controls and also supports two interfaces such as the RS-485 communication interface and the SCC-RC130 wired remote. Using RS-485's DVR or SSC-1000/SSC-200 controllers, you can control up to 128 cameras. Using the camera's wired remote, you can adjust zoom, focus and access the menu. It also comes with a motion detection feature (Area&Sensitivity) and OSD (on screen display).
