For a mere 199 Euros

Earlier this week, Italian network operator TIM leaked another QWERTY Samsung mobile phone – C6620. The TIM brand is no longer just Italian, being recognized in Europe, the Mediterranean basin and in South America. In fact, TIM has become one of the major powers of the international presence of the Telecom Italia Group in the world. The new device from Samsung hasn't been officially announced, but the Italian operator listed the product as a newcomer to its offer.

Samsung C6220 strongly resembles Motorola Q 9h smartphone, but it's available in three colors: Navy Blue, Apple Green and Wine Red. The newly unannounced C6620 smartphone packs lots of goodies and most likely targets businessmen.

Some of its features include: HSDPA, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1, music player, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 2 Megapixel camera. The device embeds only 20MB internal memory, but comes with 1GB microSD memory card in the sales package. There's no touchscreen, but the 320x320 pixels display supports 65k colors.

Samsung C6620 measures 113.3x63x11.9 mm and weighs around 109 grams, which makes it a little bit thicker than Nokia E71, but 0.1mm sleeker than Motorola's Q 9h.

The tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz) handset has a battery autonomy of seven hours in talk time mode and about 300 hours in standby mode. Even if information seems a little bit scarce for a device that's already on sale, judging by the pictures, it looks like a pretty reliable smartphone.

For the moment, Samsung C6620 is exclusively available through Italian carrier TIM, and can be acquired for no more than 199 Euros. The offer also includes a 5 Euro TimCard for data traffic.

This is a very good choice for those that are looking for a cheap smartphone featuring the latest version of Windows Mobile, so let's hope it will soon be available across Europe.
