South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has just made available for download a new application for its Samsung Galaxy S II flagship device, offering users the possibility to enjoy Samsung Smart TV on the handset.

With the new application, dubbed Samsung Smart View, users would be able to easily relay content directly from their TVs to the smartphone.

The application would send TV content to the mobile phone over a WiFi connection. Moreover, it would also offer support for sending to the device content from the Blu-ray player, or the set-top box as well.

Some of the main features the new application comes to handsets with would include: -Dual View - Enjoy TV and other multimedia right from your mobile device that’s connected to Samsung Smart TV. You can even send what you’re watching on your mobile device to TV and watch it from TV.

-Remote - Your mobile device can work as remote for your Samsung TV or BD products. Full remote screen is provided by default, and three tabs are provided at the bottom of the screen to help you control connected devices with ease. Onscreen keyboard shows up automatically when you need to enter text.

-Game Controller - With this feature, your mobile device can control games on TV. Full and Simple modes are available. Turn on Gyro function on your mobile device, and control games by tilting your mobile device.

-Settings - You can fine-tune control for TV and BD by adjusting gesture sensitivity in your mobile device.

The application would also work as Wi-Fi remote control for Samsung Smart TV, as long as the mobile phone is connected to the same wireless Router as the TV.

The software was designed to work with D7000, D8000, and D9500 series Smart TVs, and can be downloaded and installed on the Galaxy S II at the moment, though it should be released on more devices later this year.
