Release to come this month

A new Samsung music phone will make its debut on the market this month, at T-Mobile. Samsung Beat follows the recent release of the Blast music phone model that has also been launched through this carrier in the past.

The Beat is actually the SGH-E236 music phone model and has recently been approved by FCC, which set it for a close release. It looks like T-Mobile has been the operator chosen to bring it on the US market.

The handset is actually an entry-level model, meant to make music accessible at an affordable price. Samsung Blast manages to pack only the most basic features that handset users might need from their handsets. The advantage is that, unlike many other entry-level phones, the SGH-E236 is capable of rendering music files at high levels, although nothing out of the ordinary. It is supposed to come cheap, so there is no surprise that the phone takes care of only the most basic user needs.

Samsung Blast comes equipped with a VGA camera that will provide low quality images. Some people never use this feature at its true level, so they might consider it an advantage that the phone's price has been dropped by a less evolved camera. The internal screen has a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels, quite low by most standards. Still, we must keep in mind that this is a music phone, which makes all other specifications less important. Moreover, the lower performances are sure to help the price drop, which is great for those interested only in the music rendering features.

Samsung SGH-236 has a vivid green external speaker, the only thing that stands out in its design. The company has made no official announcement on this phone, which makes all its known features look more as speculations rather than sure facts. Once the device will be released at T-Mobile, certain facts will be revealed. This should happen this month, with high chances for the 24th of September to be the event's exact date.
