Samsung released several things at the mobile Solutions Forum 2011, one of which, a headset, hasn't actually made its debut, though it will start shipping before the next month is over and done with.

Quite a few things have left or will leave Samsung's labs over the next few or several weeks, like the 4 Gb LPDDR3 DRAM described here.

One thing that users will have to wait for is the HM7000 headset, a Bluetooth device that will make a decent companion to any smartphone.

Talking on a phone hands free is getting especially popular nowadays, especially among the ranks of people who have to move or carry things around all the time.

To make life easier on them, Samsung, like so many other companies, makes so-called wireless (Bluetooth) headsets.

The latest of these to get its own press release is this very HM7000, which T-Mobile will begin to sell at some point in late October, 2011, for $99.99 (73.41 Euro).

The specifications note the existence of Bluetooth version 3.0 and Samsung Isolat Dual mic noise cancellation/echo cancellation technology.

The list also includes A2DP support for music streaming, as well as text-to-speech functionality (with Samsung FreeSync Android App) and voice prompt and command

The company also implemented the multipoint technology and multiple profiles: Stereo (A2DP) Bluetooth Codec (MP3, SBC), Mono (HFP)(HSP).

All in all, the headset should have everything it needs to satisfy buyers, for up to 4 hours of talk time, or 16 hours with a charging unit.

As for the standby time, Samsung was able to make it possible for the HM7000 to last for up to 160 hours, or 640 hours when factoring in the charging unit.

Finally, the company makes a point of emphasizing the “sleek, attractive form factor for the fashion-conscious consumer,” as well as the convenience of the portable charging solutions (charging cradle, as it is nicknamed).
