Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the new ATIV Book 9 Style, a sleek and slim laptop that will be marketed as an Ultrabook.

Like its latest Chromebook, Sammy is coating this new lappy with faux-leather, in order to carry on the tradition. The notebook bundles a nifty 15.6-inch screen with a beautiful 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution (full HD).

And now NotebookCheck reports that the ATIV Book 9 Style has been confirmed by the tech giant to arrive on April 7 in Europe. It will be made available in “Jet Black” and “Classic White” versions and will sell for €1,100 / $1,511.

As a memory refresh, the laptop should arrive equipped with an Intel Core i5 Haswell combined with 4GB of RAM and backed up by a 128GB solid state drive. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet and features 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0, HDMI and VGA ports and SDXC card slots.

The new ATIV will ship with Windows 8.1 out of the box, which goes against previous information which said Samsung will be abandoning the production of Windows laptops in favor of Chromebook models.

The Ultrabook is pretty similar to the ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition which Samsung launched at CES 2014, with the exception this model appears to be a little bit thicker and heavier.
