14 DAY TRIAL // DJ Samantha Ronson, sister of Amy Winehouse producer and collaborator Mark Ronson, and ex-lover of Lindsay Lohan, was arrested the other day for driving under the influence. She was extremely cooperative, reports say.
Ronson was leaving a party when she was pulled over by police officers outside Baker, California. AceShowbiz says, citing reports in the media, that she appeared to be intoxicated, but refused a breathalyzer.
Consequently, she was taken downtown, where she was booked for DUI. The arrest went down without further incidents.
“The 33-year-old DJ was driving her black Porsche home from a Sunday (July 31) night’s gig at the Lavo nightclub in the Palazzo hotel in Las Vegas when she was pulled over at 10:30 A.M. for speeding,” the e-zine writes.
“She reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest after refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test,” adds the same media outlet.
She was taken to a police station, where she did the breathalyzer and “blew over the legal limit.” Reports in the media describe her as extremely cooperative with the officers.
“Radar Online additionally reported that she was released from the jail at 5:23 P.M. ET,” AceShowbiz says.
Ronson made no mention of the arrest on her Twitter page, which was kept constantly updated with details of a dinner date with friends and brother Mark.
As fans of Lindsay Lohan must know, Samantha dated the actress for a very long time, with reports even saying at one point that they had gotten engaged and were planning to marry.
Since their relationship was extremely volatile and would often see the two end a night of partying with loud fights and even domestic violence (as per reports), they eventually broke up some time ago.
Samantha has been photographed kissing another woman since then, but Lindsay is reportedly still heartbroken over the failed romance.
