Salma Hayek is beautiful and, what’s even better, she’s so in the most natural way possible. In a brand new interview with Allure magazine, meant to promote her upcoming skincare line, the actress reveals she never had anything done to her face to maintain her youthful looks.

The actress, who’s always been considered one of the most stunning women in showbiz, with a face and figure that both men and women dream of, says she does believe in fighting signs of old age.

In other words, while she’s naturally beautiful, she’s also so because she takes good care of herself. However, this is where she draws the line.

“I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth,” Salma says. That doesn’t include becoming a regular with plastic surgeons or dermatologists, as is the case of countless women in the industry.

“It’s like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful,” the actress says.

“I’ve never had anything done on my face. I’ve never had dermabrasion or peels or injections of any kind, nothing,” Hayek adds.

Still, she always made sure she looked her best, by using the best of the best products available. Her experience in front of the camera also helped her a lot in staying beautiful, in that she knew what the standard was.

“My career has given me a lot of experience to be under pressure of having to be beautiful, and having to look for tricks to make it work,” she explains.

She learned the tricks in question from her grandmother, to whom she dedicates her skincare line. An experienced beautician, her grandmother taught Salma to always look for beauty within – and then emphasize it using natural products.

Her skincare line aims to do that same for all women out there: a solution to expensive and not always effective treatments, with a goal to show women how to find beauty “and enhance it in a natural way.”
