Meant for children whose parents already own an iPad

Looks like kids with gadgets are going to be a far more common occurrence in the near future, especially with things like the Sakar AppClix camera.

It isn't just the 7-megapixel sensor and the 4x zoom that makes it noteworthy, nor the cartoonish theme of the red device.

What it has that cameras don't usually sport is a 30-pin dock connector that plugs into the iPad and allows for uploading photos and edit them through the free Disney Pix app.

Of course, there are some catches about the camera, besides how parents will have to get an iPad first if they want to use this in any way.

For one, its memory card has a minuscule capacity (32 MB, that's right, MB not GB) so they'll probably have to buy a new SD card for it.

Also, the camera itself costs $60 (45.88 Euro) which might not be very appealing, especially with how prone to breaking things children are.

Fortunately, the decision can be postponed, what with the item being out of stock right now.
