Saints Row 4, the open world game from developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver, is still in the number one position of the United Kingdom video game chart during its second week on sale, managing to remain one place ahead of Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

The action title has already managed to deliver 1 million copies to gamers worldwide during its first week and players have been praising the quality of the gameplay, the humor linked to the single-player story and the huge array of character customization options.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the new Sam Fisher adventure, is in second place for the period that ended on August 31, according to data from UKIE, and Ubisoft must surely be pleased with the reception of the game, which makes stealth a focus once more.

The first new entry of the week comes in third place, where Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn from Square Enix resides.

The MMO has a troubled launch but it seems that a big number of players is willing to stick to the game despite its problems with servers and overpopulation.

Disney Infinity, the toy-powered game with varied characters, is in fourth, a one position drop over the previous week, while the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has also lost one place.

Another new entry, Rayman Legends, stands in sixth in the United Kingdom, already performing better than the previous game in the series.

Madden NFL 25, the EA Sports American football juggernaut, seems to also become a big franchise in Europe and manages to debut in seventh place, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which drops three places after the launch of its last DLC, called Apocalypse.

PayDay 2, from Starbreeze, is in ninth and FIFA 13, the football sim from EA Sports, closes down the top ten as we enter the month during which its successor will be launched.
