Sagem is one of the few mobile phone producers that dared in launching a new handset on the big day when the iPhone is due for launch. Probably because the Sagem my850v has nothing to do with the high performances of Apple's phone due for release.

This 3G clamshell phone model manages to bring for its user the most common performances that he might use. No high technology, nothing we have ever seen before in other cell phone models.

Sagem my850v comes with an especially stylish design, which makes it look as a stylish device, capable of high performances. Looks may be deceiving, as this mobile phone comes only with the most common capabilities coming from a telecommunication device.

The blue finish with mirrored front display manages to be both appealing and practical at the same time. It looks smooth and refined, with elegant lines which have high chances of receiving appreciation from a large number of people. The functional aspect about it is given by the fact that track info for the music which is being played at that time. Moreover, basic information, such as messaging and caller info, is also added, as to make it unnecessary to open the phone at some times.

Specifications show this phone model as being a 3G enabled one. Moreover, EDGE technology makes it excellent for data transfer at high speeds. Connectivity is available through Bluetooth, which proves to be highly useful on several occasions. This handset comes with 16 MB of internal memory and a microSD expansion slot, as the default is surely not going to be enough.

Sagem my850v will be available in Vodafone network starting July 2007. An estimated price that this handset will come at has not been specified until now, although there are little chances for it to be a large one, when considering its performances.
