If the term "Collectible MMORTS" sound good for you, try this game out

We are always really excited when new game-related terms appear, especially if these terms are actually new game concepts. Collectible MMORTS is one of them and Saga prepares to turn it into a worldwide success. Still, don't expect a revolutionary concept - consider it more of a new implementation with a cool name.

It is not random, though. Saga is a Collectible MMO-RTS. This means that players collect troops, build armies, conquer new lands and build up kingdoms, complete with resource collection, city building and peasant management. The game will also include huge armies fighting against each other, multiplayer quests, espionage missions, guild wars and an auction house where you will be able to trade your collectible troops.

And now everything is ready to be beta tested by the gamers and the nice thing is that everybody can join, so you won't hate this game from the start just because they rejected your beta application. So go for it, right here, on the Saga official website.

The good thing about the Beta version is that each and every game feature will be unlocked - after the game will be released, all these will cost you a purchase price of $19.95. But you won't have to pay for a monthly subscription fee, which is good. You will be able to purchase "buster packs", though, which probably means that you won't really be able to make the difference without them, which is bad. But, since the Beta phase gives you everything for free, now it's not the best time to diss the game for something we don't really know if it's really going to happen.

Also, to be sure that everything will work just fine, Saga went through some stress tests and everything went fine (read: no crashes or other issues). So the game developers promise you'll be safe there. The SAGA servers are expected to support up to 20,000 players per realm with thousands of simultaneous users. Should a greater-than-expected number of players attempt to login to the world at the same time, a login queue will be implemented and additional realms will be brought online.
