SPB Software, the major mobile software developer behind the highly-acclaimed SPB Mobile Shell UI, has just announced the release of SPB TV for bada devices. The application is now compatible with Samsung's Wave series of smartphones: Wave, Wave 525, Wave 533, Wave 575, Wave 723 and Wave II.

According to the developer, SPB TV is now “the only mobile TV solution on the market that covers more than 99% of smartphones with 3G support including the newest ones.”

The application is also compatible with Android, iOS, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and WebOS mobile platforms, as well as feature-phones with 3G support.

SPB TV for bada features 3D graphics and multipoint-touch, as well as an elegant user interface, which makes the process of watching TV on mobile devices an enjoyable experience.

In this regard, SPB TV for bada is the winner of the “Useful Applications” category in bada Developer Challenge Russia.

The software supports TV features, such as a TV browser with quick channel previews, a very easy to access TV guide for all offered channels, quick channel switching and many more.
