Leading mobile applications developer SPB Software announced on Tuesday the release of a new version of its SPB Brain Evolution for Symbian, namely version 2.1. According to the company, the first SPB Brain Evolution Symbian-based smartphones was released into the wild more than a year ago, and has become one of the successful solutions the company offers to mobile phone users.

SPB Brain Evolution comes to the market as a set of addictive mini-games which need to be played in sequence, since only the good results obtained in a game will unlock the next one. According to the company, the game enables users to easily improve their mental awareness. What the new version brings along includes support for touchscreen-based devices powered by OS Symbian S60 v5, meant to deliver a finger-friendly experience to all users.

The main features of SPB Brain Evolution 2.1 for Symbian include: - Support for S60 v5-based touchscreen devices - 12 excercises - Brain Marking and Brain Training modes - A new scoring and progress tracking system - Multiple user profiles - Share your achievements online via SPB server and Twitter

The exercises that users will enjoy in SPB Brain Evolution include Sudoku, Numbers, Arithmetics, Quadronica, Guess Who, Memorica, Encyclopedia, Minesweeper, Matches and Balltracker, as well as the newly added Geometry and Pairs. “They help user to exercise such basic mind activities as logic, arithmetic and memory. While the training mode prepares you for the battle the marking mode allows you to register your progress. The game also allows tracking the progress in your personal brain evolution which immediately becomes available in the form of a diagram or a score,” the company adds.
