The GeForce 9800 GT, one of Nvidia's latest releases, has been added to Sparkle's premium graphics card line Calibre as well. The Calibre P980 features a 256-bit memory interface, 112 Stream Processors, 512MB of GDDR3 memory, and support for SLI and DirectX 10. The GPU comes with a second generation GDP (Graphics Display Port) daughter card capable of providing users with information on the GPU temperature, working voltage and fan speed.

The Calibre P980 has the core clock set at 675 MHz (up from 600 MHz on the stock card), the shader clocked at 1728 MHz (1500 MHz on stock), while the memory works at 2000 MHz (1800 MHz) respectively. A dual-slot cooling solution which includes four copper heatpipes, a beefy array of aluminum fins and two fans keep the new Calibre card at the right temperature under heavy loads. For connectivity, the card features Dual DVI-I, HDTV, and HDCP slots. The card also comes with HDMI capabilities and support.

Sparkle promises unparalleled user experience with its latest Calibre card. All the features included in the card are meant to make it get higher than other similar products. The SLI support is intended to enhance gaming experience, while the high-definition video decoding capabilities and the post-processor are able to deliver unprecedented picture clarity, smooth video and accurate color for movies and videos.

Users have the possibility to select the warning limits for the GPU temperature, GPU working voltage, and fan speed that are monitored by the GDP daughter card. Coupled with the cooling capabilities of the dual heat-pipe fan cooling system, the GDP is meant to ensure a long life for the card, along with the same top capabilities even after years of usage.

The Sparkle Calibre P980 is expected to arrive in stores quite soon, although the company hasn't unveiled a retail price yet.
