SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., a professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, has recently announced the latest addition to its Calibre lineup, the Calibre P980X+ graphics card. The company has featured its newest product with elaborately made Calibre Dual Fly Fan and convenient SPA Tune OC software, meant to allow the card to deliver DX10 gaming graphics beyond any other mainstream consumer computing platform.

The new Calibre P980X+ graphics card has been manufactured under the 55nm process technology, making the product one of the first on the market to adopt the fresh NVIDIA 55nm graphics chip. Moreover, the card also has out-of-the-box overclocking features, allowing it to deliver groundbreaking speeds compared with the ordinary GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics cards on the market.

The core speed of the new Calibre P980X+ has been set at 761MHz, while the shader clock runs at 1911MHz. Thanks to these improvements, the new card is able to provide amazing floating point processing power for unmatched gaming performance. The 512MB 1161MHz GDDR3 video memory sported by the card is also meant to bring the most compelling DirectX 10 visual experience ever seen.

The Calibre Dual Fly Fan System can be considered an ultimate graphics cards cooling solution, offering users a Calibre P980X+ card that features higher graphics performance and lower working temperatures. The cooling system can get the most heat exchange area in a limited space, delivering a highly efficient cooling effect. Moreover, since the cooling fans can be adjusted aslant, the whole cooling efficiency can be raised at the same time.

The SPA Tune is an exclusively designed OC piece of software which allows users to balance the computing power and power consumption of the Calibre P980X+ graphics card. There are three modes available, namely Overclocking mode (OC), standard mode (STD) and green mode (GRN). The performance level of the card will vary according to the selected mode; the same is available for power consumption. When in OC mode, the card will run at faster speeds and consume more power, while reducing them both under GRN mode, when the cooling fan speed and generated noise levels are also lowered.
