The upcoming SOCOM: Special Forces (aka SOCOM 4) will have a unique feature in its multiplayer mode, as players have the ability to perform special dance moves over the bodies of their opponents.

Multiplayer gaming has given birth to a lot of unique ways through which players express their dominance over others, with the most popular being the so-called teabagging maneuver.

Zipper Interactive, the developer of the upcoming SOCOM: Special Forces, will take this one step further, effectively allowing players to gloat on top of their opponent's body through unique dance moves.

"Available in online competitive matches, SOCOM Special Forces victory dances are triggered by pressing the Circle button while standing over a fallen enemy. There are more than a dozen dances in the game," said Chris Roper, community specialist at Zipper Interactive.

Among the dance moves that will be included in the multiplayer mode of SOCOM 4, we have old time favorites like the Chicken Dance or Robot, but also The Crane move from Karate Kid.

In case you have a hard time wrapping your head around seeing soldiers in the SOCOM multiplayer matches stopping from all the killing to execute elaborate dance maneuvers, Zipper also released a special video, showcasing the three moves mentioned above.

SOCOM 4: US Navy SEALs, known as SOCOM: Special Forces in Europe, will be the first, true next-generation experience in the long-running series developed by Zipper Interactive.

The game will see players step into the combat boots of US Navy SEALs, who must work together as a team in order to execute missions all around the world.

The game, like any self respecting first party title from Sony, will feature support for full stereoscopic 3D and the PlayStation Move motion detection peripheral, provided you have a 3DTV and the Move accessories.

SOCOM 4 will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on April 19, in North America and one day later in Europe.

Until the game is out, check out the special dance moves it will have in its multiplayer mode.
