SEGA announced less than two weeks ago plans to remove some of its older mobile games from App Store, Google Play Store, Samsung Store and Amazon Appstore.

“It is important for us to ensure that all of our fans, regardless of platform or operating system, have a great playing experience and after evaluating our complete list of titles, we have determined that a number of them no longer meet our standards,” said SEGA at that time.

However, the company did not announce which Android and iOS games would be removed from these stores. SEGA did not even hint at how many of its titles might have been affected by its decision.

The only thing they said was the fact that the games would be removed over the course of a few weeks. Today, Pocketgamer reports that a long list of 19 SEGA titles are no longer available for download. Here is the full list of games that have been removed by SEGA in less than two weeks:

After Burner Climax, Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2, Super Monkey Ball Adventure, Super Monkey Ball Tip'n'Tilt 1 and 2, Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll, Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz, Altered Beast, Ecco the Dolphin, Golden Axe 1, 2, and 3, Phantasy Star 2, Streets of Rage 1 and 3, Space Harrier 2, and Virtua Fighter 2.

Those who purchased these games will still be able to download them

Keep in mind though that, if you have already purchased a game from the list above, you will still be able to continue to play it after it’s been taken down.

The game will still show in your purchased apps where you will be able to download it again if you delete it or acquire a new device until the game becomes incompatible with the latest phone operating systems or hardware.

It's also worth mentioning that SEGA mentioned that some of the games removed might make a comeback in an updated form, at some point.

However, no promises were made, so these 19 titles that have been removed until now might never be available for download again.
