Speereo Software UK has released last week SAPIE, a first ever Personal A.I. secretary which is designed to fulfill the whole range of secretary duties. The application was raised under strict supervision in Speereo Software Labs and it can be installed on handheld devices to help users maintain their agenda, contacts, tasks and email accounts.

SAPIE is based on Speereo Speech Recognition technology (SSR) that offers 99, 9% accuracy and speaker-independency. SAPIE is able to maintain a natural dialogue with the user, so they can carry their briefcase or drive a car while speaking to their personal adviser. They don't even need to tap the screen.

Users will only need one phrase to launch SAPIE, and another phrase to record a reminder. The application seems to be extremely time-effective.

Compared to human beings, SAPIE has lots of advantages; it never sleeps, and it's never in poor health.

The only prerequisite you're required to learn are the four starting phrases. Then, just let SAPIE ask you the details. These dialogs are close to human ones. All the necessary information will be shown on the display. You only need to spend a couple of minutes when getting started and SAPIE will know when YOUR morning starts, what communication style you prefer. Afterwards, you could just pronounce something like: "remind me to call my partner tomorrow after lunch". And she'll understand you right away!

The application is compatible with all Pocket PCs that feature Windows Mobile 2003/5.0.
