14 DAY TRIAL // Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o were first linked in the media last year, when they were both favorites of the awards season and they went on to attend the same galas to scoop up their awards. Since then, the Internet has not stopped wishing they were an item in real life.
Their joint presenter gig at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards 2015, which took place in Los Angeles, reignited that hope, especially since he seemed unable to take his eyes off her while on stage.
If the video embedded below were of better quality (sorry about that), you might be able to tell from it. As it is, we have only other people’s word for it: admittedly, he couldn’t stop staring at her, in a way that made many fans and celebrity pundits assume that he was head over heels in love with her.
Of course, the fact that she’s in a relationship with rapper K’Naan might prove to be a problem, but the Internet really wants this romance to happen. Not only are they two of the most talented and fashionable young actors working in showbiz right now, but they’re also insanely gorgeous (each in his and her own right) and have solid chemistry together.
Or so they say.
For the record, both Lupita and Jared laughed off reports that they were dating back in February last year. Lupita even joked that Miley Cyrus broke them up, while Jared dedicated one of his many wins that year to her, his “future ex-wife.”
