14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most talked about appearances on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2014, held over the weekend, was Natalie Dormer, best known for fans of HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” as the ambitious Margaery Tyrell, future wife of King Joffrey Baratheon.
She would have looked spectacular in her white fitted gown even if it hadn’t been for her drastic new hairdo, but it was the fact that she had half her head shaved down that stood out the most. Click on the image above to see it in full.
Natalie explained that she’d gotten the drastic cut in preparation for her role in the third “Hunger Games” installment, telling reporters that “I was ready to do the whole head but we decided it was more stylistic — more Capitol — just to do half the head.”
She made sure she showed off her ‘do by sweeping the rest of her hair to the side in loose, gorgeous curls, held in position by a tight braid at the back of the head. Her entire exposed ear lobe was covered by an earring / accessory.
For makeup, Natalie opted for the ever-winning combo of smoky eyes and a nude lip, and she made sure she infused her new look with plenty of attitude.
