The love fans have for Julia Roberts is so great that they go positively frantic when she takes the time to shake hands with them. In between serenading her with “Pretty Woman” and screaming her name, fans outside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles almost fell over their idol.

It all happened over the weekend, as Julia was making her way to the red carpet outside the aforementioned venue, where the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2014 were taking place.

She passed by the throng of fans, who were so eager to touch her and let her know how much they loved her, they fell over a barricade and nearly threw her down as well. The two videos embedded here are of the near-mishap, shot from two different angles.

Apparently, no one was hurt and Julia continued with greeting fans until the end. She later joked with reporters on the red carpet about the small incident.

“Oh they all fell down. They are all okay. I checked everyone. I gave a little bit of CPR everyone's good. It was like, ‘damn,’ but everyone's good,” she laughed.
