14 DAY TRIAL // Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk has now the reputation of a well-known prankster but, until a couple of years ago, not everyone knew his name. That is, until he got slapped by Will Smith for trying to kiss him on the cheek at a movie premiere.
Since then, Vitalii has been working steadily crashing awards show after awards show, some times with better results than others. His most recent attempt was over the weekend, on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2014, when he gave Bradley Cooper what has been dubbed a “crotch hug.”
Us Weekly has video of the incident, which turned out to be very embarrassing for the actor, who kept trying to pry Vitalii off him, to little success.
Bradley and Michael Pena had just stepped on the red carpet, when the prankster threw himself at the former’s feet, hugging his knees while burying his face in his crotch. A blushing Cooper tried to get him up and off of him a couple of times, and he eventually succeeded.
Before being escorted off the red carpet, Vitalii whispered something in Bradley’s ear but no one knows what it was.
Reports online claim the Ukrainian journalist somehow made his way on the red carpet without having an invite or even a press pass. To his credit, Cooper tried to laugh the whole thing off, but you could tell by his expression that he’d been upset.
