Natalie Portman is not shy or afraid to speak her mind and last night, at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards, she offered more confirmation of that in her acceptance speech for Outstanding Performance by Female Actor in a Leading Role.

Just like she did at the Globes, when she thanked her parents for giving birth to her and then her fiancé for allowing her to continue this process of creation, Natalie delivered a touching and heartfelt speech.

Also somewhat expectedly, she thanked her parents for instilling in her lots of common sense and for showing her what is most important in life. Being a jerk isn’t included there, The Hollywood Reporter notes.

“My parents who taught me to work my hardest and never be an [expletive]-hole,” Natalie said, with TBS bleeping out the word. “It’s never acceptable,” the actress added.

She then went on to thank the industry and the Screen Actors Guild in particular, for allowing her to grow up and learn all she needed to know before making it big.

“I’ve been working since I was 11 years old. You made sure I wasn’t working too long, made sure I got my education while I was working. I’m so grateful to have this union protecting me every day,” Natalie said.

Of course, always the nicest person around, she did not forget to thank her competition, which included this year the likes of Nicole Kidman, Hillary Swank, Annette Bening and Jennifer Lawrence.

“To all the actresses in this category, I am so humbled to be among you,” Natalie gushed.

“Lastly, Portman named her co-stars Mila Kunis, Barbara Hershey, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, director Darren Aronofsky, ‘whom I love so much,’ and fiancé Benjamin Millepied (with whom she is expecting her first child), who had a bit role in the film and choreographed it,” THR further notes.

All in all, Natalie managed to thank everyone in what was yet another unique and heartfelt speech.
