In a segment from a martial arts competition in Russia, one fighter knocks his opponent to the ground in one swift Karate Kid-like move.

According to Bleacher Report, the battle follows Shinkyokushin rules, which really means that not a lot of rules apply. The competitors wear no protective gear and are allowed any type of movement with their legs and feet.

Even as they are banned from using their hands or arms to strike, the style is not very limiting.

In fact, uploader TheNIMITZZWORLD who has posted the clip on YouTube comments on the scene as being reminiscent of the Street Fighter II game.

The clip was shot during the PPO Karate Championships in Ulyanovsk, Russia. Blows to the head were allowed during the match, the Guardian mentions.
