Not few people can actually say – and mean it – that they love Joan Rivers, especially if they’re celebrities, and she’s the first to admit to this. In a recent interview with Metro, the star opened up and spilled the beans on a wide range of topics, from who was industry’s best dressed to who was the rudest star she ever had to interview.

The former distinction went to Lady Gaga, a woman so versatile and surprising as far as her outfits go she seems she breathes originality and innovation. More importantly, Rivers says, Gaga is having a lot of fun with her outfits and this is the one thing that all the other stars have forgotten how to do. Ironically enough, Gaga is also the worst dressed, the outspoken star goes on to say.

As for who is the rudest person she interviewed in her very long career, that would have to be Russell Crowe, without a single doubt. “There’s no graciousness or humility about him. You can be talented but you also need luck to become successful and he has no gratitude. I’ve interviewed him for various awards shows. I know a lot of things that he’s allegedly said to people,” Rivers explains.

Surely, that can’t come as a surprise, since the “Gladiator” star (to be seen next in “Robin Hood”) has a history of abuse, both verbal and physical, with the paparazzi. Still, some continued to hope that all the incidents in the past were somehow provoked by the paps and not initiated by Crowe for the simple reason that he knew no humility or graciousness, and was, in short, very rude.

Nevertheless, Rivers is not afraid to step on some toes. “[I’ve offended] everyone. That’s why I still do it. My job is to let the viewer know what I think. The bigger the star, the less they care. One year, Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman went together. Naomi was wearing a mustard color and Nicole was wearing red. I said they looked like a condiment set, mustard and ketchup, but they thought it was funny because they’re secure. The ones on their way up get offended,” she adds.
